Earned Income Tax Collection Reform

Senate Bill 1063—PICPA-supported legislation streamlining the earned income tax (EIT) collection system—was signed into law by Gov. Edward G. Rendell on July 2, 2008. Now Act 32 of 2008, the law establishes various reforms in relation to the collection of EIT that consolidates, modernizes, and introduces uniformity to the collection process.
