The Rule

The Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy requires all Pennsylvania CPAs to obtain 80 hours of CPE per biennial period. The 80 credit hours must include at least 16 in accounting and auditing subjects, eight in tax subjects, and four in ethics. In addition, there is a minimum requirement of 20 credit hours per year.
