PICPA offers 20 new scholarships for accounting majors each year. To be eligible for a PICPA scholarship, students must be enrolled in a Pennsylvania college or university, have at least 36 credit hours, and carry a minimum GPA of 3.0. Scholarship amounts go up to $15,000, and many are renewable! Applications are now available online only at www.CPAzone.org. Don’t delay. Submission deadline is March 15.

2007 Student Writing Competition
If you are a student with the urge to succeed in the field of accounting, PICPA encourages you to take part in the 2007 Student Writing Competition. This year's topic is "Assessing the Impact of Frequent Financial Information Restatements." First-, second-, and third-place students will receive $2,000, $1,000, and $800 respectively, with an excerpt of the winning essay being featured in the fall 2007 issue of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal.
