Northwestern Chapter

2008-2009 Chapter Leadership

President  -  Robert P. Caskey

Robert P. Caskey is a sole practitioner in St. Marys. He specializes in tax and accounting and joined PICPA in 1981. He has served as chair of Technical Meetings and Chapter CPE Programs Committee and has been actively involved with the leadership of Northwestern Chapter since 2005.  Within his community, Robert is a past president of the local chapter of the Kiwanis Club, and is treasurer of St. Mary’s Youth Center,  Meals on Wheels and Northern Tier Community Action Group and Church Financial Council. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

President Robert P. Caskey’s goals for the Northeastern chapter:

  • Continue our emphasis on providing high quality CPE programs within the chapter
  • Continue to seek increased participation in chapter meetings and events
  • Develop programs to involve accounting students in chapter activities

2008-2009 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – James A. Nystrom
James A. Nystrom is an individual practitioner in Titusville. He has been a member of PICPA since 1989. James has served as auditor for the Northwestern Chapter in 2005 prior to joining the Executive Committee.

Vice-President – Edward L. McDougall
Edward L. McDougall is an individual practitioner located in Grove City. He has been a member of PICPA since 1990.  Ed has a long history of active involvement with the Northwestern Chapter.  He was chapter president in 2002 and co-chairs the Technical Meeting and Chapter CPE Committee.

Secretary – Chad R. Brzezinski
Chad R. Brzezinski, is senior accountant with Black, Bashor  & Porsche, LLP in Sharon. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Chad is a charter member of Sigma Beta Delta, an international honor society for business, management and administration.  He joined PICPA in 2005 and is also a member of AICPA.  Chad is member of the CPA Image Enhancement and Northwestern Chapter Executive Committee.   

Treasurer – William L. Brown
William L. Brown is employed as sales manager for Precision Feedscrews, Inc. in New Castle.  He is also an individual practitioner specializing in tax services for small businesses and retirement taxes. Bill joined PICPA in 1982 and has chaired the CPA Image Enhancement Committee and Speakers Bureau.  He has also been involved with the Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee and Technical Meeting and Chapter CPE Programs Committee prior to joining the Northwestern Chapter Executive Committee. Bill is a member of the New Castle Playhouse and has been a member of the Shenango Area School Board.
