Message from President David E. Moses

The main goal for the PICPA Central Chapter is to increase membership and increase member involvement in the chapter’s activities and committees.

As president for 2007-2008, I specifically want to do the following:

  1. Increase chapter membership.
  2. Increase attendance at social activities such as the summer picnic, the Altoona Curve baseball game/picnic, and the annual golf outing.
  3. Increase attendance at the annual dinner/meeting.
  4. Get more members involved with committees.
  5. Become more involved with local high school students by enlisting members to go out and talk to students about the accounting profession and its advantages and benefits.
  6. Provide focus for additional opportunities for financial literacy.

Hopefully, if these goals are achieved, the chapter will be able to continue the good work of its past presidents.
