Central Chapter Annual Meeting

The Casino at Lakemont was the scene of the Central Chapter’s Annual Meeting, May 4, 2007. Members and their guests enjoyed networking cocktails and dinner. During the annual meeting the new chapter leadership was sworn in by David Lastowski, member of PICPA Council.  Brenda A. Pawlowski, chapter president, thanked outgoing leadership, committee members, and past presidents for their hard work and dedication to the chapter.  David E. Moses, incoming president, along with Brenda recognized those who have been PICPA members for 20, 30, 40 and 50 consecutive years and successful CPA candidates.

This year the Central Chapter initiated a Volunteer Service Award that recognizes the contributions and commitment of a chapter member volunteer. The recipient of this award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond volunteer activities for the chapter.  The recipient of the first Central Chapter Volunteer Service Award is Betty Lynn Diamond. She has initiated new programs for the chapter, recruited volunteers for the chapter and has worked hard to enhance the image of CPAs.
