Lehigh Valley Chapter Annual Meeting

The Lehigh Valley Chapter’s Annual Meeting and Casino Night had a great turn-out with over 50 members and guests enjoying an evening of dinner, drinks, games, and prizes at the Lehigh Valley Country Club on May 3. Perfect weather enabled members to enjoy cocktail hour on the veranda overlooking the country club’s scenic grounds.

Marysue Bulcavage, chapter president, opened the meeting by thanking the outgoing officers, committee members, and past presidents for all their hard work and commitment to the chapter. Evelyn A. Williams and Dorothy S. Leigh were recognized for their efforts in planning the chapter’s first Lehigh Valley Day at Dorney event. Also honored were the chapter’s members who have reached 20, 30, 40, and 50 consecutive years of PICPA membership as well as successful candidates who had passed the CPA exam in the last year.  Joseph A. Mastriani, incoming president, addressed the attendees outlining  chapter plans and goals for the 2007-2008 year, and then kicked off the evening’s casino games.

The evening came to a close with a raffle of prizes donated by the chapter.  Gary M. Kowalick, successful CPA candidate, was the big winner of the night, taking home multiple prizes.
