Lehigh Valley’s New Emerging CPAs Committee Partners with Reading Chapter for Its First Event

The Lehigh Valley Chapter launched its very own Emerging CPAs Committee and held its first event, a joint program with the Reading Chapter’s Emerging CPAs Committee. The committees hosted a wine tasting and networking event at the Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery on Oct. 11, 2007.

Lehigh Valley Chapter’s chair of the new committee, Evelyn Williams, worked with the chair of Reading’s Emerging CPAs Committee, Keith Hoffman, to make the event a success. The event had more than 20 attendees – a great turnout for a first event!

The group enjoyed a tour of the vineyard and winery which ended with a sampling of the vineyard’s wines. Members and guests had a great time as they mingled with friends and co-workers over hors d’oeuvres and sampled six of the vineyard’s wines. The tasting ended with a sample of the winery’s warm spiced apple wine, which was a hit amongst the guests.
