Northeastern Chapter Annual Meeting

Members of the Northeastern Chapter enjoyed a Night at the Races for their Annual Meeting at The East Mountain Inn on April 26. Marilyn A. Derolf, President-Elect thanked the chapter’s leadership for all their hard work throughout the past year. J. Andrew Weidman, president of PICPA, was present to administer the oath and install the chapter’s 2007-2008 Executive Committee. He also assisted in honoring those who have been PICPA members for 20, 30, 40, and 50 consecutive years.

The chapter recognized students from area colleges and universities who were awarded chapter scholarships. Those in attendance were: Andrew Eckert, Karl Kemmerer, and Bryan Vivaldo from Wilkes University; Amy Kelly from Keystone College; Tyler Moore from College Misericordia; and Ross Schwenk from King’s College.

After the meeting, members had a great time betting on horses and winning prizes during the Night at the Races. Prizes donated by the chapter were raffled at the end of the night.
