Northeastern Chapter Launches First Family Day Picnic

The Northeastern Chapter’s Executive Committee tried something new this year for its summer event. Members and their families were invited to Hillside Farms on Sept. 8, 2007 for a summer family picnic.

Guests enjoyed a hayride and tour of the farm, including the cottage, the farm’s old mansion that is soon to begin renovations. After the picnic, everyone was treated to Hillside Farm’s famous homemade ice cream which is made on the premises.

The chapter’s first family day was a success and members reported having a great time. If you are interested in helping to plan more fun events like this one for the Northeastern Chapter and join the committee!
