Reading Chapter Emerging CPAs Softball Game and Picnic

The Reading Chapter’s Emerging CPAs Committee held a fun-filled softball game and picnic at the Cacoosing Meadows Park in Spring Township on Sept. 5, 2007. After a slight discrepancy over a double-booked softball field was solved, the game was underway. The group creatively split into two teams named Team 1 and Team 2.

John Nied, Kyle Weller, Mike Draver, Bob Stoczko, Josh Pollet, Jessica Rohrbach, Ella Gindin, and Keith Hoffman made up Team 1.

Team 2 was represented by Jason Claudfelter, Brooke Smith, Shawn McMurty, Steve Frank, Dave Stonesifer, Roxanne Adam, Shawn Cahill, and Chris Turtell.

A group of unbiased cheerleaders included Jeanettee Grick-Hassis, Michelle Ward, Heather Zuber, Tara Turtell, Sarah Tracey, and Matt Flamisch.

Team 2 jumped to an early lead and held onto it to finish the game with an 8-3 win against Team 1. After a competitive game, the teams came together to enjoy a picnic at the pavilion of sandwiches, snacks, soda, and beer. A great time was had by all.
