Mysteries of Career Advancement: What You Need
to Know

The South Central Chapter had its Kick-Off of ABCs Networking (Attorneys, Bankers, CPAs).  The partnering organizations that make up the ABC group included the following: RMA- Risk Management Association, PA Bar Institute- Women in the Profession and PICPA- Lifestyles, Family Issues and Women in Accounting Committee. The ABC kick-off was a luncheon that took place February 22, 2007 at HACC.  The event was considered a huge success with seventy-nine women and one brave male in attendance. 

The featured speaker was Sandra Solomon of Sandra Solomon Associates, Pittsburgh.  She gave a dynamic, thought provoking presentation on career advancement and considerations specifically for females.  Discussion focused on specific examples as Ms. Solomon immediately connects with the audience.  Following Ms. Solomon’s presentation each of the ABC partners made a short presentation.  Also introduced in the program was the Dress for Success Organization. Attendees brought donations to contribute to this non-profit program  that is aimed at assisting women enter or reenter the workforce.

A room filled with nearly eighty Attorneys, Bankers, and CPAs enjoy an afternoon lunch and networking while learning about the "Mysteries of Career Advancement."
