Benjamin Bankes Makes a BIG Impact in the Southwestern Chapter

More photos

Southwestern Chapter President Nazzi Zola had a great idea for a Fort Ligonier Day celebration: a Benjamin Bankes sighting! And, what better way to educate the public on financial literacy, than to float an eight-foot inflatable pink pig balloon through the Fort Ligonier Days Parade? That is just what the chapter did on Oct. 13, 2007 as part of the three-day celebration of Fort Ligonier.

After the parade, chapter members and Benjamin Bankes handed out Feed the Pig stress pigs, lanyards, magnets, and lunch bags. For those who scored big playing the bean bag toss game, Feed the Pig piggy banks were awarded. The chapter had a great time interacting with the public while raising awareness of financial literacy and the Feed the Pig campaign.

Thanks to all who helped put this fun and unique event together including PICPA members Shawn Martina, Sara Gressman, Deborah Nicholas, Deborah Luttner, Pat Koos, Don Newcomber, Jennifer Nadzadi and Nancy Bennett. Special thanks to Nazzi Zola and Southwestern Chapter Vice President Tim Rennie for going above and beyond for this event.
