2007-2008 Chapter Leadership

President – Joseph A. Mastriani

Joseph A. Mastriani is a shareholder of Buckno Lisicky & Company in Allentown specializing in the financial planning area.  Joseph graduated from Moravian College and is a Certified Financial Planner and Personal Financial specialist. He joined the PICPA in 1987, and has served as chair of the chapter’s Estate and Personal Financial Planning Committee, and is a member of the state’s Personal Financial Planning and Budget and Finance committees. Joseph is treasurer of Allentown Liberty Bell Rotary Club, board member of Program for Women and Families, board member of Estate Planning Council of Lehigh Valley; and volunteer for Junior Achievement of Lehigh Valley.  Joseph resides in Schnecksville with his wife, Lori and two sons enjoying tennis and cycling.

A Message from President Joseph A. Mastriani

Goals for my term as president:

• To increase member involvement in chapter committees
• To highlight role of emerging CPAs in future success of chapter
• To increase awareness of financial literacy program
• To encourage greater community involvement
• To encourage greater interaction with other professional organizations
• To maintain the success of the Lifepath Thanksgiving luncheon.
• To begin monthly executive committee meetings to further LV chapter strategic planning

2007-2008 Chapter Officers

President Elect – Dawn C. Anderson
Dawn C. Anderson is a manager at Campbell Rappold & Yurasits LLP, who joined PICPA in 1995. She is chair of the Community Involvement and Social Responsibility Committee, and is a member of the chapter Thanksgiving Benefit and CPA Image Enhancement committees. Dawn is on the regional council of Volunteers of America in Lehigh Valley and is a Sunday school teacher at Asbury United Methodist Church in Allentown. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University.

Treasurer – Jeffrey S. Berdahl
Jeffrey S. Berdahl is president of Berdahl and Company PC, with expertise in tax planning and preparation, accounting, financial planning, and management advisory services. He was co-chair of the Speakers Bureau and later the committee liaison. He has been the chair of the Lehigh Valley Chapter Membership and Image Enhancement Committees. He was a committee liaison for the Legislation Committee, chair of the Thanksgiving Benefit Committee, and chair of the Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Muhlenberg College, and holds a certified specialist in estate planning designation. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley and the Greater Lehigh County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Allentown West Rotary Club. He has been a member of PICPA since 1992.

Secretary – Evelyn A. Williams
Evelyn is a senior accountant at Buckno Lisicky and Company in Allentown.  She has been a member of the PICPA since 2001.  She has been the chair of the Lehigh Valley Chapter Emerging CPAs Committee and the Social Activities Committee.  She has been an active member of the CPA Image Enhancement Committee and the Personal Financial Planning Committee.
