2007-2008 Chapter Leadership

President – Romey D. Fagnano

Romey D. Fagnano is a CPA at William R. Hoffman, LTD in Williamsport.  He specializes in taxation and tax planning for individuals and all types of businesses.  He received his B.A. in Accounting from Lycoming College.  He is currently working on his MBA at Baker College, Michigan with a concentration in accounting and is expected to graduate in December 2007.  He is chair of the North Central Chapter Nominations and Operations Committees. Romey has served as a strong partner in the leadership of the executive committee for the North Central Chapter.  He resides in Northumberland, Pa. with his wife Heather.  He has been a member of PICPA since 1998.

A Message from President Romey D. Fagnano

The goals that have been established by the leadership for the North Central Chapter include the following:  

• To continue the efforts of past presidents, specifically with regard to encouraging involvement in membership activities
• To encouraging students to consider accounting as a major
• To provide local CPE for chapter members
• To increase financial literacy

2007-2008 Chapters Officers

President- Elect – Hood C. Johnston
Hood C. Johnston is controller with Kuhns Brothers Log Homes Inc. in Lewisburg.  He joined PICPA in 1999, and is the past president of Lewisburg Sunrise Rotary and current director of the Bucknell Club of Susquehanna Valley.  Johnston earned his bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and master’s in business administration from Rider University.

Secretary – Jennifer L. Rhea
Jennifer is a manager at Parente Randolph LLC in Williamsport.  She has been a member of PICPA since 2003.  She was chair of the North Central Chapter CPA Image Enhancement Committee in 2004-2005 and was also a member of the chapter Executive Committee.

Treasurer – James R. Wehr
Jim Wehr is employed with Klein and Rizzo Inc. in Williamsport.  He joined PICPA in 1998. Jim has been involved with the North Central Chapter CPA Image Enhancement Committee prior to joining the North Central Executive Committee.
