2007-2008 Chapter Leadership

President – Michael N. McElravy

Michael N. McElravy is the vice president of Warren Industries Inc. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Clarion University.  He joined PICPA in 1989, and has served on the Executive Committee since 1998. Mike resides in Warren where he enjoys fishing.

A Message from President Michael N. McElravy

The goals that have been established by leadership for the Northwestern Chapter include the following:

• Focus on increase of participation – attendance at events
• Define a manner of touch/reach more members
• Increase the quality of speakers
• More focus on relations with schools and colleges

2007-2008 Chapter Officers

President-Elect  – Robert P. Caskey
Robert P. Caskey is a sole practitioner in St. Marys, who joined PICPA in 1981. He has served on PICPA’s Technical Meetings and Chapter CPE Programs Committee. Within his community, Robert is a past president of the local chapter of the Kiwanis Club, and has been treasurer of both Meals on Wheels and Northern Tier Community Action Group. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and master’s in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Vice President – Chad R. Brzezinski
Chad Brzezinski, is a senior accountant with Black, Bashor  & Porsch, LLP. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Gannon University with a bachelor of science in accounting.  Chad is a charter member of Sigma Beta Delta, an international honor society for business, management and administration.  He joined PICPA in 2005.  He resides in New Castle where he enjoys golfing, working out, and reading.

Secretary – James A. Nystrom
James A. Nystrom is an individual practitioner in Titusville. He has been a member of PICPA since 1989. James has served on the Executive Committee of the Northwestern Chapter and currently resides in Titusville.

Treasurer – Robert S. Marut
Robert is a staff accountant at Hill Barth & King LLC in Meadville.  He has been a member since 2002.  He was previously a member of the PICPA Speakers Bureau.
