South Central Chapter

2007-2008 Chapter Leadership

President – Tami N. Russo

Tami Noll Russo is a certified financial planner with Noll Financial Services in Middletown. Her area of specialties include investment management, insurance planning, retirement planning – 10 million dollars of assets under management.  

Tami is the professional growth director of Harrisburg Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of the board of the educational committee for the Financial Planning Association of Central Pa. She is also a member of the strategic planning committee of Middletown Area School District. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College.

She joined PICPA in 1997. Tami has been involved in the chapter leadership as part of the executive committee, chair of the chapter’s Personal Financial Planning Committee and member of the Speakers Bureau, CPA Image Enhancement, and ABCs of Networking committees.

Tami resides in New Freedom with her son and husband Daniel, and is awaiting the birth of their twins.

A Message from President Tami N. Russo

The goals established by leadership for the South Central Chapter in 2007-2008 year include the following:

  • Improve the continuity and communication of chapter goals between officers and committee members
  • Emphasize the importance and communicate the dates of the quarterly chapter board meetings.
  • Invite all officers, executive committee members, committee co-chairs, and past presidents to the quarterly meetings
  • Make sure all committees have two chairs.
  • Promote chapter activities to accounting firms, membership mailing, and electronic communications.
  • Ensure that one officer is present at all chapter events.
  • Strive for external public recognition for our image enhancement campaign and any other chapter outreach efforts.
  • Conduct financial literacy outreach programs and promote to local press.
  • Publicize Passport to Opportunity events.
  • Communicate the Feed the Pig campaign to the public
  • Send press releases and pictures for chapter service award
  • Encourage membership and active participation in PICPA
  • Provide additional financial resources to Emerging CPAs and other social committees
  • Increase networking opportunities with other related professions via the ABC’s of Networking initiative, Emerging CPA functions, and joint meetings with other professional organizations.
  • Continue to provide special recognition of successful candidates at the chapter annual meeting
  • Create chapter service recognition program

2007-2008 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – David E. Coffman
David E. Coffman is the sole proprietor of Business Valuations & Strategies in Harrisburg. A member of PICPA since 1979, David is co-chair of the chapter’s Cooperation with the Bar Committee and past chair of North Central Chapter’s Speakers Bureau and CPA Image Enhancement Committee. David is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board, and CPA Image Enhancement Committee. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce for both Harrisburg Regional and West Shore and is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.

Vice President – Theodore D. Brosius
Theodore D. Brosius is a partner with Boles Metzger Brosius & Ritter PC in Harrisburg and a member of the PICPA since 1992. He was one of the recipients of the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal’s 2004 “40 Under 40” award. He is also treasurer of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College.

Secretary – Michele Clarkson
Michele is an auditor at BMC in Harrisburg.  She has been a member of the PICPA since 2004.  She has been a chair of the Relations with Schools and Colleges and Member Services Committees. 

Treasurer – Matthew S. Wildasin
Matthew is a partner at Boyer and Ritter.  He has been a member of PICPA since 1995.  He is currently the chair of the state Emerging CPAs Committee and was previously involved in the South Central CPA Image Enhancement and Community Involvement and Social Responsibility Committees.
