IRS/Practitioner Liaison Group

PICPA representatives serve on a task force with other practitioners and the IRS to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and services. The task force meets quarterly to address practitioners' issues and concerns. Members can have an agenda item added to the meetings for systemic or burden-reduction issues.

See an example of how the IRS responded to member concerns on using retirement funds to start a business.
