Earned Income Tax Collection Reform

PICPA-supported legislation streamlining the earned income tax (EIT) collection system—Senate Bill 1063—was signed into law by Governor Rendell July 2, 2008, and is now Act 32 of 2008.  The new law establishes various reforms in relation to the collection of the EIT that would consolidate, modernize, and introduce uniformity to the collection process.
