Denise L. Devine
Denise is founder and CEO of Nutripharm Inc. in Media, where she specializes in finance, manufacturing, and intellectual property. She is a member of PICPA’s State Steering Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, and AICPA Council. Denise is a former member of the Strategic Advisory Board, and past chair of the Cooperation with the Bar, Community Involvement and Social Responsibility, and Budget and Finance committees.

Eric P. Wallace
Eric is a partner and coordinator of the construction and real estate services niche for Carbis Walker LLP in Pittsburgh, where he provides professional services to many contractors and construction-related industries. He is a member of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board, Budget and Finance Committee, and AICPA Council. Eric is past chair of PICPA’s Accounting and Auditing Procedures Committee.

Vice President
Susan D. Jarvis
Susan is a sole practitioner in Nazareth, where she provides services to a variety of small businesses inside and outside Pennsylvania as well as individual tax clients. She is a past president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter and a former member of the following committees: Annual Meeting, Legislation, Nominations, Professional Ethics, and Small Business. Susan also served on PICPA Foundation’s board of directors.

Vice President
Kevin M. Mitchell
Kevin is a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Harrisburg, with a specialization in audit and business assurance – consumer and industrial products. He is a former member of the PICPA Foundation’s board of directors and the Local Government Accounting and Auditing and Professional Ethics committees. Kevin is also a past chair of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy.

Treasurer
Rudolph J. Bilich Jr.
Rudy is a tax partner with Deloitte Tax in Pittsburgh. He serves on PICPA’s Investment Task Force and is chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. Rudy is a former treasurer of the Pittsburgh Chapter. He has also served on the Issues Identification, Membership Expansion, and Substantial Equivalency task forces.

Cynthia J. Chisarick
Cynthia is an associate professor of accounting in the Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre. She is a past president of the Northeastern Chapter and past chair of her chapter’s Relations with Schools and Colleges and Taxation and Annual Tax Meeting committees. Cynthia served on the Professional Ethics Committee and Strategic Advisory Board.

Brenda A. Pawlowski
Brenda is a manager with Dennis P. Kotzan, CPA in Johnstown. She is a past president of the Central Chapter and past chair of her chapter’s CPA Image Enhancement Committee. She is also a former member of the Emerging CPAs, Local Government Accounting and Auditing, and Relations with Schools and Colleges committees. Brenda serves as co-chair of Central Chapter’s Golf Outing Committee.

David M. Pianta
Dave is a partner with Appletree & Kern PC in Erie, where he specializes in accounting and auditing and related compliance, as well as small business consulting and taxation. He is a past president of the Erie Chapter and past chair of Erie’s Emerging CPAs and Community Involvement and Social Responsibility committees.

Debra A. Ries
Deb is senior tax manager at Schneider Downs & Co. Inc. in Pittsburgh. She is co-chair of Pittsburgh Chapter’s Local Taxation and Government Committee and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Tax Conference Committee. Deb has also served on the Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board and Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee.

Domenick A. Valore
Domenick, a shareholder with Wilder & Co. Ltd. PC in Greensburg, specializes in taxation. He is a past president of the Southwestern Chapter and a former chair of the Nominations Committee. Domenick has chaired his chapter’s Golf Committee and has served on the Governance and Strategic Direction Task Force.

Scott E. Miller
Scott is assistant professor of accounting, associate director of the school of business, and director of graduate programs of the school of business at Gannon University. He is chair of Erie Chapter’s Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee and a member of the Education Committee and Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board. Scott is a former member of Erie Chapter’s Executive Committee and the Speakers Bureau.

Daniel is a shareholder with Young Oakes Brown & Company PC in Altoona. He is a member of the PICPA’s Local Government Accounting and Auditing Committee.

Brent W. Emrick
Brent is a shareholder with Boles Metzger Brosius & Ritter PC in Harrisburg. He is a past president of the South Central Chapter and currently serves on the CPA-PAC and Legislation committees. Brent is a former member of the Budget and Finance, Personal Financial Planning, and Peer Review committees.

Robert A. Lavenberg
Bob is a partner with BDO Seidman LLP in the New York and Philadelphia offices. He has served on Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s Speakers Bureau.

Kenneth L. Urish
Ken is managing partner of Urish Popeck & Company LLC in Pittsburgh. He has served on Pittsburgh Chapter’s Speakers Bureau and the Appointments Committee.

Barry H. Williams
Barry is chair of the department of accounting and finance at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. He is a past president of the Northeastern Chapter, and a former member of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board and Substantial Equivalency Task Force. 

William J. Steger
Bill is a partner with Malin, Bergquist & Company LLP in Erie. He is a past president of PICPA’s Erie Chapter.

He serves on Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s Executive Committee and the state-level CPA Image Enhancement Committee. Barry has served on several Greater Philadelphia Chapter Committees, including Cooperation with the Bar, Emerging CPAs, Financial Institutions, and Lifestyles and Family Issues.

William G. Engelbret
Bill is an associate professor of accounting, business, and engineering at Penn State - Altoona. He is a former chair of the Education and Technology committees. Bill has also served on the Long-Range Objectives Committee and as chair of Central Chapter’s Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee.

Lisa A. Myers
Lisa is partner-in-charge of public sector services and personnel chair for Boyer & Ritter CPAs in Camp Hill. She is immediate past president of the South Central Chapter and current co-chair of the chapter’s Lifestyles and Family Issues and Nominations committees. Deborah A. Bacon
Debi specializes in the manufacturing and nonprofit industries as a senior manager at BDO Seidman LLP in Philadelphia. She is past chair of the state Not for Profit Committee and the Local Government Accounting and Auditing Committee. Debi is also the past chair of the chapter Budget and Finance Committee, and is a former member of the CPA Image Enhancement Committee and the Image Enhancement Task Force.

Joseph A. Mastriani

Nazzi is general manager of research and transaction support at Allegheny Energy in Greensburg, specializing in financial and regulatory reporting and accounting in the utility and energy industry.
