PICPA Professional Ethics Committee

The PICPA Professional Ethics Committee (“Committee”) is responsible for investigating complaints against members and maintaining the PICPA Code of Professional Conduct. Members are elected to this state-wide committee on a rotating basis to serve three-year terms.

The Committee investigates complaints as part of the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program (JEEP), an agreement between the AICPA Professional Ethics Division and state societies across the country to jointly investigate ethics complaints.

The PICPA Professional and Technical Standards Team provides administrative and technical support to the Committee. Complaints and general correspondence, in addition to ethics questions, should be directed to this department.

Questions or correspondence related to a specific case should be directed to the case investigator assigned.
