Handout Materials Preparation Guidelines

  • Please make your outline detailed and include citations, supplementary materials, articles, forms, checklists, illustrative charts, tables, and a bibliography of related material or any published works you plan to refer to during your presentation.
  • Please remember it is your responsibility to obtain and provide to us written permission to reprint any copyrighted materials.

Mechanics of Preparation

  • E-mail (to: Conference Coordinator) or mail your original typescript. If you use photocopies, they should be clear and free of blemishes. We suggest that you retain a back-up copy of your outline.
  • Use 8½" x 11" letter-size white paper, one side only. Because your outline will be reproduced double-sided, on 3-hole punch paper, the left and right margins should be at least 1½ inches.
  • Please number your pages.
  • Leave all pages of your outline and materials loose - please do not staple, fasten, spiral bind them together or fold your outline when mailing.

Please Note!

The due date for your outline has been set to allow for sufficient time to review, assemble, print and ship the materials to the program site. We ask your assistance in making every effort to meet the deadlines.

Please notify us if changes in legislation or accounting standards will affect your presentation and may require you to submit materials after the due date.
