PICPA Special Circumstances

The PICPA wants to ensure you can maintain your membership, no matter what your financial situation. Special Circumstance rates are available to members for various reasons including, but not limited to, the following:*

  • Unemployment or underemployment
  • Long-term financial difficulties due to illness or other reasons
  • Stay-at-home parents or long-term care givers who have temporarily left the workforce
  • Lack of employer reimbursement/new employer unable to reimburse
  • Lack of income

To be considered for the Special Circumstance rate, please complete the Special Circumstance form below. You will hear from our member relations team after your request is reviewed. If approved, you will receive a response with your rate at the time of approval (usually within seven business days).

If you have additional questions, please contact membership@picpa.org or call (215) 496-9272.

Request Dues Waiver

The PICPA also offers the possibility of a dues waiver for members who experience extreme difficulty and are unable to pay. Dues waiver requests must be approved by the PICPA Board of Directors. If you would like to be considered for a dues waiver, please email membership@picpa.org. The request will be reviewed by the Board at their next scheduled meeting: until that time, your membership will remain in good standing.
