Philadelphia-Area Residents Win Volunteer Award from PICPA

PHILADELPHIA – Nicholas J. Crocetti and Leon A. LaRosa Jr., both local certified public accountants, received Volunteer Service Awards from the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Crocetti and LaRosa received the awards for outstanding service and demonstrated contributions to the chapter and the PICPA through their active participation in voluntary opportunities. They were both recognized at the chapter’s annual meeting on May 4.

Crocetti, a resident of Collegeville, Pa., has chaired PICPA’s Federal Taxation Committee. He is director of tax advisory services with CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory LLC in Philadelphia.

LaRosa, a resident of Exton, Pa., has been actively involved with PICPA’s Forensic and Litigation Committee and Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s Cooperation with the Bar Committee. He is managing partner and chair of the litigation support and business valuation group at Gocial Gerstein LLC in Jenkintown, Pa.
