Wernersville Resident Wins Award from PICPA

READING, Pa. – Virgil A. Kahl, a certified public accountant from Wernersville, Pa., received the Champion Award from the Reading Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Kahl, who received the award at the chapter’s annual meeting in Reading on May 18, was honored for her participation, contributions, and commitment to PICPA, the CPA profession, and the community. Kahl is chair of PICPA’s CPA Image Enhancement Committee and a past president of the Reading Chapter. She created and helped launch PICPA’s Money & Life program, a free employee financial education seminar for local companies.

Kahl is a certified financial planner at Spring Ridge Financial Group in Wyomissing, Pa.
