Nicktown Resident to Serve on PICPA Council

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Brenda A. Pawlowski, a certified public accountant from Nicktown, Pa., was elected to a two-year term on Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (PICPA) Council at its annual meeting in State College. Her term on the governing body of PICPA will expire in 2009.

Pawlowski is director of finance for Conemaugh Health Initiatives in Johnstown, Pa., and immediate past president of PICPA’s Central Chapter. She is an active member of St. Nicholas Parish Church, serving on the finance committee and as a religion teacher. Pawlowski earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
