Pittsburgh Resident to Serve on PICPA Council

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Debra A. Ries, a certified public accountant from Pittsburgh, was elected to a two-year term on Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (PICPA) Council at its annual meeting in State College. Her term on the governing body of PICPA will expire in 2009.

Ries is a tax manager at Carmeuse NA in Pittsburgh. She is chair of the Local Taxation Committee of PICPA’s Pittsburgh Chapter and has served on the Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board.
