Wallingford CPA Shares Important Financial Planning Tips with Low-Income Citizens

PHILADELPHIA – Marsha M. Rubin, a certified public accountant from Wallingford, Pa., spoke about basic financial planning at the Women’s Opportunities Resource Center’s Loan and Grant Conference.

Rubin made the presentation on behalf of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Speakers Bureau. Audience members were citizens from the Philadelphia area with limited financial resources who are participating in a family savings account program.

Rubin operates her own practice in addition to working for Wharton Management Group in Wilmington, Del. She specializes in comprehensive financial planning as well as individual tax preparation and planning.

PICPA Speakers Bureau members make presentations on personal finance and business topics to various community, educational, and civic groups. Topics include saving for college, retirement planning, tax, budgeting, and accounting education.
