Girard Resident to Lead Local Chapter of State Association

Other Area CPAs to Serve as Officers

ERIE, Pa. – Marguerite (Maggie) Moffatt, certified public accountant, was elected president of the Erie Chapter of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.

Moffatt is employed at Malin, Bergquist & Company LLP in Erie. She has been a PICPA member since 1992. In addition to her PICPA involvement, she has served on the board of the Rice Avenue Community Public Library and the Zonta Club. Moffatt has a master’s degree in business administration from Gannon University.

Other 2008-2009 officers elected at PICPA’s Erie Chapter annual meeting include the following:

President-Elect: Ryan S. Brosius, CPA, is a supervisor at Malin, Bergquist & Company LLP in Erie. Brosius has served as a member of the Athena Powerlink Advisory Board, and is a graduate of Penn State University – Behrend.

Secretary: Michael S. Neubauer, CPA, is a supervisor at McGill, Power, Bell & Associates LLP in Erie. He serves on the board of directors of the Presque Isle Partnership and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Neubauer earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Gannon University.

Treasurer
: Elizabeth W. Kidd, CPA, is director of financial services at St. Benedict Education Center in Erie. Kidd is a swimming and diving official for the NCAA and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). She earned a bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University and a master’s degree in business administration from Gannon University.
