Pennsylvania Legislator Tax Guide

The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) has historically developed a guide to help members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly address unique concerns regarding the federal income tax treatment of travel and other expenses.

In light of changes brought about by the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, however, a 2021 edition is not necessary. Peter Calcara, PICPA's vice president of government relations, has instead issued a letter explaining the impact of these changes.
