In response to the incredibly challenging practice environment in 2020, the AICPA Peer Review Board has been extremely flexible in permitting peer reviews to be performed offsite and automating extensions. In May, the AICPA programed PRIMA to automatically process more than 4,000 extensions for over 2,000 firms. The PICPA professional and technical standards team has created a webinar, "Navigating Peer Review in 2020," to highlight the many 2020 administrative and logistical issues, how to minimize technical reviewer comments, and how to ensure that your peer review submissions are accepted by the peer review committee without delays.
