Big news has come out of Nashville today. The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) announced that it is extending the CPA Exam testing windows.
Starting in June 2016, the first 10 days of the current blackout months - March, June, September, and December - will now also be open for testing. This is really great news for current and future examinees, as it means more opportunities to schedule to sit for the CPA Exam.
It couldn’t have come at a better time. The launch of the new CPA Exam, expected to be in April 2017, will be enhanced motivation for candidates to pass all four parts before the format and content changes are implemented. Exam spots will fill up quickly.
So all you 2016 graduates and procrastinators out there, go get this done! Tell me below, are you psyched about this? What’s your game plan?
