Q&A with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue

Any progress on working with some tax software companies so we can e-file PA corporate returns for LLC’s?

Sep 30, 2013
Certain Single Member LLC’s cannot file using Fed/State e-file if the entity does not have an EIN, due to the IRS Fed/State restriction on not allowing an SSN to be filed as the identifier for business returns. If an LLC has an EIN, there is no restriction to filing the corporate return electronically.
