Membership Categories & Rates

Membership is open to both CPAs and non-CPAs in the profession, accounting educators at the high school and college levels, as well as college students majoring in accounting or a related field.

Membership year runs May 1 - April 30. 
It's a great time to join. Half year proration is in effect for most member categories.

For CPAs

CPA Member

A CPA, in any state*, regardless of license status (active or expired).

Annual Dues:
Licensed < 3 Years $250
Licensed > 3 Years $335

Half year rates apply Nov. 1 - Jan. 31

CPA Educator

A CPA, in any state*, regardless of license status (active or expired), who is a full-time faculty member at an accredited college or university, or a high school teacher of accounting, business, or a related discipline.

Annual Dues: $130 
Half year rates apply Nov. 1 - Jan. 31

Nonresident CPA Member

A CPA with a Pennsylvania license, regardless of license status (active or expired), who neither lives nor works in Pennsylvania.

Annual Dues: $210

For Non-CPAs

Student Affiliate

A full-time college student, majoring in accounting or a related field.

Annual Dues: $10

Accounting Affiliate

A recent graduate (within the past five years) with a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field.

Annual Dues: $35

Candidate for Admission

A candidate who has passed all four parts of the CPA Exam but has not yet received a CPA license.  If you passed all four parts of the CPA Exam within the last year you could qualify for a free year of membership.

Annual Dues: $175

Associate

Has a bachelor's degree and works in an accounting, finance, or related field.

Annual Dues: $335

Half year rates apply Nov. 1 - Jan. 31

Associate Educator

Works in the accounting field, has a bachelor's degree, and is a full-time faculty member at an accredited college or university, or a high school teacher of accounting, business, or a related discipline.

Annual Dues: $130

*Or political subdivision of the United States, or the equivalent thereof of a foreign country or its political subdivision.   

Former Members and Reinstatements

Applications for reinstatement should be submitted with dues for the year in which reinstatement becomes effective. Members who were terminated for nonpayment of dues may be subject to a reinstatement fee of $50, and may be subject to additional sums due to the Institute at the time of his or her termination.
