PICPA Membership Categories

A Category for Every Step of Your Career

The PICPA membership year runs May 1 through April 30. Half-year rates apply Nov. 1 through Jan. 31 for all categories except student and accounting affiliates.

Student Affiliate

$10/year

A full-time college student, majoring in accounting or a related field. 

Accounting Affiliate

Accounting Affiliate

$40/year

A recent graduate (past five years) with a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field. 

Candidate for Admission

Candidate for Admission*

$180/year

A candidate who has passed all four parts of the CPA Exam but has not yet received a CPA license.

CPA member

Licensed < 3 years: $255/year
Licensed > 3 years: $340/year

A CPA, in any state,* regardless of license status (active or expired).


Nonresident Member

$210/year

A CPA who is licensed in Pennsylvania and neither resides nor is employed in Pennsylvania.

Associate Educator

$135/year

A non-CPA who works in the accounting field, has a bachelor's degree, and is a full-time faculty member at an accredited college or university, or a high school teacher of accounting, business, or a related discipline.

CPA Educator

$135/year

A CPA who works in the accounting field, has a bachelor's degree, and is a full-time faculty member at an accredited college or university, or a high school teacher of accounting, business, or a related discipline.

Associate

$340/year

A non-CPA who has a bachelor's degree and works in accounting, finance, or related field.


Retired Member

$80/year

Any CPA Member or Nonresident CPA Member who is neither working nor seeking employment may request a transfer to Retired Membership. Email membership@picpa.org.


Former Members and Reinstatements

Applications for reinstatement should be submitted with dues for the year in which reinstatement becomes effective. Members who were terminated for nonpayment of dues may be subject to a reinstatement fee of $50, and may be subject to additional sums due to the Institute at the time of his or her termination.
