Office Space Needed: Help Urban Children Become Literate

Achieve Now  | Oct. 2018 - May 2019
Center City Philadelphia
Achieve Now, a Philadelphia nonprofit with a mission of helping young children in the city become literate, is seeking a large Center City firm to donate a space big enough to hold 50 people for coaching lessons from October to May. The coaching sessions are for children in grades kindergarten to second, will last one hour, and will take place once a week - on the same day each week. The firm would not be obligated to staff the volunteer opportunities - the PICPA can assist with that - but firm members can participate. Please contact Jim DeLuccia at jdeluccia@picpa.org if your firm can donate the space.

Join a Chapter Committee
The best way to get involved is to join a committee in your chapter. Examples of committees are the Schools and Colleges Committee, which helps inform the future of the profession, and the Emerging CPAs Committee, which plans events in your area.
