Bucks Knocks Out Hunger

June 21 | 9:00-11:00 a.m. | Bucks County Community College-Newtown
Bucks Knocks Out Hunger, United Way of Bucks County’s signature hunger fighting event, will be held this year at Bucks County Community College in Newtown. In addition to engaging over 600 volunteers to pack 125,000 meals for the seventh year in a row, BKO Hunger will raise thousands of dollars to provide fresh local produce and dairy products to pantries.

This is the fifth year that the Greater Philadelphia Chapter has sent a team of volunteers to assist in this event. We have reserved 14 slots for members to pack meals on an assembly line in the Gymnasium.

PICPA Cares: Volunteer Opportunities

CultureWorks Seeking Board Treasurer and Finance Committee Members

This local nonprofit is seeking two board members to serve on its Finance Committee, with one member serving as board treasurer. The Board of Directors of CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia governs two charitable entities, CultureWorks and its subsidiary, CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia. The shared mission of both organizations is to "provide arts, heritage, and creative practitioners equitable access to the resources they need to flourish."
