Frank P. Czekay

President – Frank P. Czekay, CPA, JD, LLM

Frank Czekay is works in the Philadelphia office of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP, and is a firm director in its state and local tax services group. Frank is responsible for all aspects of multistate tax planning, research, voluntary disclosure projects, and merger and acquisition due diligence projects for corporate, pass-through, and individual clients. Frank has more than 25 years experience in serving multistate corporate clients and pass-through entities. 

Frank received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University, his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University. Frank is a member of the PICPA's Greater Philadelphia Chapter Executive Board, State Taxation Committee, and the Local Taxation and Government Committee. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Revenue Commissioner’s tax advisory board. Frank is an instructor for various state tax courses for the PICPA and an adjunct faculty member at Rowan College in New Jersey.

Frank was chair and vice chair of the Medford Township Zoning Board of Adjustment from 1997 to 2011, and the treasurer of the Deerbrook Civic Association and Deerbrook Swim and Tennis Club from 2007 to 2014. In 2011, Frank was elected to the Medford Township Council, and served as deputy mayor in 2012 and mayor in 2013. Frank was reelected to Medford Township Council in 2015 for a four-year term.


2018-2019 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – Luigi Corrado Jr.

Luigi is a senior manager in the emerging standards and financial reporting practices of Pine Hill Group in Philadelphia. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from La Salle University and a master of taxation from Villanova University. Luigi is a Greater Philadelphia Chapter Representative on PICPA Council and was recognized for the PICPA Young Leaders Award in 2013. In addition, Luigi is a USA Hockey Official as well as an active golfer and outdoorsman. 

Secretary – Kathleen O. Rue

Kathleen currently works as the director of finance at the YWCA Bucks County, and also provides contract accounting services. Prior to her current positions, Kathy was a member of the management team at Bookminders Philadelphia, where she worked serving a variety of closely held and nonprofit clients. Kathy chairs the PICPA Not-for-Profit Conference Planning Committee and volunteers with several community organizations. She is board treasurer at The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, a nonprofit based in Doylestown, Pa.   

Treasurer – R. Charles Waring

Charles is a director with PwC in Philadelphia, specializing in internal audit, compliance, and risk management solutions. He is chair of the State Legislative Committee and serves on PICPA Council and the CPA-PAC board. He received the PICPA 40 Under 40 award in 2011. A graduate of Villanova University, Charles lives in Media with his wife and son.
