2019-2020 Lehigh Valley Chapter Leadership


President – Christopher J. Huber, CPA, CGMA

Christopher is a supervisor at Buckno Lisicky & Co., where he specializes in tax, accounting and auditing, and trust examinations. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Kutztown University and an associate's degree in accounting from Lehigh Carbon Community College. He is a CPA, and he holds a CGMA. Christopher is the former president and former vice president of BNI Bethlehem II Networking Group. He also serves on the finance committee for the Allentown Public Theatre. In his free time he enjoys biking, deal hunting, and technology.

2019-2020 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – William K. Velekei, CPA, CFP

Will works for Corbenic Partners LLC, a wealth management firm. In addition to his CPA, Will is a certified financial planner (CFP). He graduated with honors from Lehigh University, earning a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is an Executive Committee Member of PICPA's Lehigh Valley Chapter, serves on the chapter’s Emerging CPAs Committee, and received the 2017 PICPA Young Leaders Award. Will is a member of the Lehigh University accounting department advisory board, and serves on the children’s services committee for the Salvation Army of the Lehigh Valley. He is a member of the financial counseling team for the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. In his spare time, Will enjoys golf, running, hiking, and biking. He currently resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife, Euniece.

Treasurer – Janice C. Alleman, CPA

Janice is a shareholder at Abraham, Borda, Corvino, Butz, LaValva & Co. PC, specializing in estate and trust and small business. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration with high distinction from Iowa State University. Outside of her involvement with the PICPA, Janice is on the executive board and chair of the membership committee of the Estate Planning Council of Lehigh Valley, is treasurer of Safe Harbor Easton Inc., and is a member of the professional adviser's council of the Community Foundation of Lehigh Valley.

Secretary – Jeremy M. Spencer, CPA

Jeremy is a regional controller for Sodexo, supporting food service and facilities management accounts in the metro New York City area and part of Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree in food service entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales University, and an MBA in finance from Jones International University. To get the necessary credits to sit for the CPA Exam, he completed a specialized diploma in accounting at Northampton Community College, where he is now an online adjunct professor teaching intermediate accounting. He lives in Easton and spends his free time cycling, hiking, and running. He also helps organize charitable bike rides at a local bike shop in Nazareth.

The best way to get involved is to join a committee in your chapter. Examples of committees are the Schools and Colleges Committee, which helps inform the future of the profession, and the Emerging CPAs Committee, which plans events in your area.
