President – Jeremy S. Sestito

Jeremy manages the international accounting team at PPL Corporation in Allentown, Pa., specializing in month-end closing, derivatives and hedging, and SEC financial reporting. He received his MBA from DeSales University and has over 12 years of accounting experience. In addition to his involvement with the PICPA, Jeremy serves on Via of the Lehigh Valley board of directors as treasurer, Via Events board of directors as chair, and Via finance committee chair.

 

2017-2018 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – Tara L. Bender

Tara is a partner at Campbell, Rappold & Yurasits LLP, specializing in not for profit auditing and corporate and individual tax preparation. She received her bachelor's in accounting from Kutztown University. Tara has been the treasurer and board member of Emmanuel Assembly of God since 2014. In her spare time she enjoys music, cooking, and reading.

Treasurer– Janice Alleman

Janice is a shareholder at Abraham, Borda, Corvino, Butz, LaValva & Co PC specializing in estate and trust, and small business. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration with high distinction from Iowa State University. Outside of her involvement with the PICPA, Janice is on the executive board and chair of the Membership Committee of the Estate Planning Council of Lehigh Valley, treasurer of Safe Harbor Easton, Inc, and a member of the Professional Advisor's Council of the Community Foundation of Lehigh Valley.

Secretary – Christopher J. Huber

Christopher is a supervisor at Buckno Lisicky & Co. and specializes in tax, accounting and auditing, as well as trust examinations. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Kutztown University, as well as an associate's degree in accounting from Lehigh Carbon Community College. He is a CPA, as well as CGMA. Christopher is the former president and current vice president of BNI Bethlehem II Networking Group. He also serves on the finance committee for the Allentown Public Theatre. In his free time he enjoys biking, deal hunting, and technology.

The best way to get involved is to join a committee in your chapter. Examples of committees are the Schools and Colleges Committee that helps inform the future of the profession, or the Emerging CPAs Committee that plans events in your area.
