Tara-L.-Bender

President – Tara L. Bender

Tara is a partner at Campbell, Rappold & Yurasits LLP, with experience in the areas of taxation, audits, reviews, and compilations for individuals and both profit and not-for-profit corporations, including procedures in accordance with OMB Uniform Guidance and student financial aid audits performed under the Department of Education Audit Guide. She also holds a certified specialist in estate planning designation. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kutztown University. In addition to her involvement with the PICPA, Tara served as treasurer and board member of Emmanuel Assembly of God from 2014 through 2017.


2018-2019 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – Christopher J. Huber

Christopher is a supervisor at Buckno Lisicky & Co., where he specializes in tax, accounting and auditing, and trust examinations. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Kutztown University, and an associate's degree in accounting from Lehigh Carbon Community College. He is a CPA, and he holds a CGMA. Christopher is the former president and current vice president of BNI Bethlehem II Networking Group. He also serves on the finance committee for the Allentown Public Theatre. In his free time he enjoys biking, deal hunting, and technology.

Treasurer – Janice C. Alleman

Janice is a shareholder at Abraham, Borda, Corvino, Butz, LaValva & Co. PC, specializing in estate and trust and small business. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration with high distinction from Iowa State University. Outside of her involvement with the PICPA, Janice is on the executive board and chair of the membership committee of the Estate Planning Council of Lehigh Valley, is treasurer of Safe Harbor Easton Inc., and is a member of the professional advisor's council of the Community Foundation of Lehigh Valley.

Secretary – William K. Velekei, CPA, CFP

Will works for Corbenic Partners LLC, a wealth management firm. He joined the firm in 2015 from SGF Capital, a Philadelphia-based hedge fund where he was an equity analyst. In addition to his CPA, Will is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He graduated with honors from Lehigh University, earning a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is an Executive Committee Member of PICPA's Lehigh Valley Chapter, and serves on the chapter’s Emerging CPAs Committee. Will recently received the 2017 PICPA Young Leaders Award. Will is a member of the Lehigh University accounting department advisory board, and serves on the children’s services committee for the Salvation Army of the Lehigh Valley. He is a member of the financial counseling team for the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. In his spare time, Will enjoys golf, running, hiking, and biking. He currently resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife Euniece.
