2018-2019 Pittsburgh Chapter Leadership

Gregory-CummingsPresident – Gregory Cummings, CPA

Gregory Cummings, CPA, is vice president and corporate controller of Liberty Tire Recycling. He has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of financial accounting, U.S. and Canadian corporation tax, risk and insurance management, and business process improvement. Cummings serves on PICPA’s Business and Industry Committee for the Pittsburgh Chapter.  He previously served on the Pittsburgh Chapter’s Schools and Colleges Committee as well as the state level Education and Marcellus Shale committees. The Pittsburgh resident received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University, his certificate in advanced corporate tax studies from Michigan State University, and his master's of business administration in finance from the University of Pittsburgh.


2018-2019 Chapter Officers

President-Elect – Joseph Zovko

Joe is a partner with Louis Plung & Company LLP, where he works in audit and assurance. He specializes in not-for-profit, employee benefit plans, and real estate. He earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Joe was also a member of Leadership Pittsburgh Class XXXII and is a current member of the AICPA.

Vice President – Jeffrey W. Kent

Jeffrey is a partner at Maher Duessel, where he specializes in audits of governmental nonprofit organizations. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Grove City College. Besides his work for the PICPA, Jeffrey is a member of the board of directors and finance committee of Auberle. Outside work, he is an active golfer and enjoys spending time with family.

Secretary – Richard L. Ward

Richard is a CPA financial planner for Capital Configuration LLC. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University, and has his CPA license and is a CFP candidate. Richard is heavily involved with the PICPA. On the state level, he serves on the Diversity Committee and the Personal Financial Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Penn State Alumni Association and NABA. When he's not volunteering, he enjoys coaching youth basketball and golfing with friends.

Treasurer – Kathy D. Sisler

Kathy is a senior tax manager at H2R CPA in Greentree, Pa., where she specializes in small-business and high-net-worth clients. She holds both the CPA and CGMA credentials, and earned her bachelor's degree from Grove City College. Kathy lives in Harrisville, Pa., with her husband Carl. When she is not in the office, she enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her son Chris. 

 

 

Join a Chapter Committee
The best way to get involved is to join a committee in your chapter. Examples of committees are the Schools and Colleges Committee, which helps inform the future of the profession, and the Emerging CPAs Committee, which plans events in your area.
