32nd Annual Sports Day Picnic & Volleyball Tournament

Over 300 players came out on Aug. 3 for the South Central Chapter 32nd Annual Sports Day Picnic & Volleyball Tournament at Bressler/Cibort Park. The competition was fierce but Flowers and Flowers came out the champions, followed by Boyer and Ritter for 2nd and Baker Tilley, 3rd place. RKL also finished in a respectable fourth place. 5th Annual Golf Outing

The South Central Chapter gathered on June 16 at Armitage Golf Club for the 5th Annual Golf Outing. Golfers celebrated the life of friend and colleague, Ray Chopper, and raised funds on behalf of Andrew’s Gift, a charity that provides grants and support for individuals and families affected by Autism. View more >

PICPA Cares: Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Treasurer Needed for Regional Nonprofit

Capital RC&D Area Council Inc. is a regional nonprofit organization that networks people, organizations and projects to promote responsible use and conservation of our region's natural, community and economic resources. Programs seek to blend natural resource conservation with local economic and social values. 

Capital RC&D Area Council is seeking a qualified volunteer to serve as the organization’s treasurer. This position leads the Business Affairs Committee to oversee implementation of the organization’s financial policy, meets with the organization’s auditor, reviews financial statements generated by the organization’s bookkeeper, reviews disbursements and serves on the executive committee of the board of directors. The position requires approximately four hours per month.
