Don’t miss the first ever whitewater rafting trip with the Reading & Lehigh Valley Chapters. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a day on the Lehigh River navigating a half dozen small rapids including Bear Trap and Great Gorge. We’ll stop halfway through the trip for lunch and wrap up the day with a hot dog BBQ. Make sure to bring your bathing suit and a towel.

Registration includes river guides, rafts, life jackets, paddles, lunch with waterproof container, shuttle to and from the river, and hot dog BBQ. Water bottles are provided with lunch, but please be sure to bring an extra one, especially if it’s a hot day. Showers and changing rooms are available at the facility as well as volleyball courts to play on after the trip.

Footwear & Attire: Please wear secure footwear. No flipflops or slip-on sandals allowed. Tennis shoes, that you don’t mind getting wet, will work fine as well as water shoes. Water shoes are sold on-site for $13.95 or can be rented for $5.

Distance: 5 – 8 miles, dependent on water level

Lunch options: turkey, ham, Italian, peanut butter & jelly, or vegetarian sandwich with chips, a snack, and a drink. Please contact membership@picpa.org with your meal selection.

Dinner menu: hot dogs, chips, pretzels, and soda (Pub fare is also available at the Red Rock Café on site for an additional fee)

Print and fill out your waiver ahead of time, and bring with you the day of the trip.
