Safe Harbor Easton is a transitional shelter for homeless single men and women. It also offers a drop-in program for low-income adults who have difficulty with daily tasks. Last year Safe Harbor served over 44,000 meals between the day program and its residents.

Volunteers are needed to prepare a warm and delicious meal for 40 people, including meat, side dish, and dessert. Volunteers are encouraged to prepare the meal ahead of time. For more information, contact Janice Alleman at jalleman@abrahamborda.com.

Notes

Meal needs to be coordinated with volunteers ahead of time, and it's easiest to have most of the prep work done before arriving. (It is advisable to stay away from preparing pasta and chili.)

Anyone working in the kitchen must have closed toed shoes, hair tied up, washed hands, and gloves on.

Safe Harbor provides utensils, plates, coffee, and ice tea. Volunteer group can provide another drink.
