Mr. Reiter is Managing Principal and founding member of Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein PC. He focuses his practice on business, commercial and real estate law, mergers, acquisitions, financing and other transactions, tax planning, wealth preservation and estate planning, employment law and estate planning and administration for individuals, closely held businesses, professionals and investment entities. 

Mr. Reiter also counsels clients regarding day-to-day business and tax issues and assists them in finding practical and effective solutions to their legal problems in a proactive manner. This includes choosing proper entities, structuring acquisitions, assisting in preparation of standard and specialized contracts, and working closely with other professional advisors such as accountants. 

Mr. Reiter is also a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and utilizes his experience and understanding of financial issues obtained in his prior profession as a practicing CPA to provide additional insight to and understanding of transactions. He received his B.A. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Temple University; his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University School of Law; and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

David is currently a member of The Pennsylvania State Board of Law Examiners.

Mr. Poutasse became a partner in May 2014 and has been with the firm since September 2009.  He specializes in tax consulting and compliance for real estate professionals, high net worth individuals and families, closely held businesses, and individuals working overseas.  He has experience testifying in litigated tax matters.

Previously, Mr. Poutasse worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the International Assignment Services group specializing in U.S. individuals working overseas and foreign nationals working in the U.S.  He has also worked at a boutique tax firm where he focused on tax planning and compliance for Real Estate Developers and Estates and Trusts.  He is a current member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.

Mr. Poutasse graduated from Miami University in 2001 and received his Masters in Accounting from Miami University in 2003.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs.
