Anthony P. Valach, JD Member Bennett,
Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC
Anthony P. Valach is a member in the Philadelphia office and co-chairs the
Privacy and Data Security Group at Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC.
Previously, Anthony was General Counsel and Vice President of Operations at a
leading IT Managed Service Provider which provides businesses in the
Philadelphia area with network monitoring, data infrastructure support and
business technology solutions. Among other things, Anthony was responsible for
developing policies and procedures to prevent data breaches and cyber-attacks
and coordinating responses to them. Anthony’s background in engineering and
complex litigation helped ensure that his clients’ vulnerabilities were
proactively considered and responded to appropriately.
Anthony earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from The
Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and his law degree from The
Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. At Chicago-Kent,
he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property, a Certificate of Distinction
in Strategies in Intellectual Property Law and was the Managing Editor of the
Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property. Following admission to the
Illinois Bar, he worked at a boutique firm in Chicago focusing on complex
federal litigation representing plaintiffs in both class and individual actions.
Anthony’s technical expertise allowed him to develop strategies to quickly and
comprehensively analyze complex and voluminous electronically stored information
(ESI) to uncover patterns of conduct and fraudulent activity. He is also a
member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Illinois bars and is admitted to
practice in the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of
Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
