Randy is a Managing Director and Institutional Fixed Income broker with Raymond James Inc., and is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

He started his professional career at Bloomberg L.P. in 1988 as a programmer, news reporter, analyst, and ultimately sales representative. In sales, his accounts ranged from major investment dealers in New York City to community banks and credit unions located across the country. During his years at Bloomberg, Randy developed a unique skill set in analyzing and managing fixed income investments, a skill that still serves his clients today as a fixed income broker. Prior to joining Raymond James Inc. in 1998, Randy was a fixed income broker at J.C. Bradford & Co.

Serving as a faculty member at the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management for the past 15 years, Randy speaks on investments in agencies, mortgages, municipals and corporates, with a focus on using Bloomberg analytics to their fullest extent. Randy is a graduate of Rider University with a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics.

Kelly Myers, CPA

Kelly Myers began his career in public accounting in the Memphis office of Coopers & Lybrand where he provided accounting and audit services to financial institutions. Kelly joined the firm's Portfolio Strategies Department in 1992. As a strategist, he prepared comprehensive financial analyses for institutional investors and provided them with technical support and training. Kelly assisted in the development of the Portfolio Risk Manager System and was in charge of the system's administration. In this position, Kelly was instrumental in designing various models to measure the price sensitivity of securities under different rate environments. Kelly has conducted research in a number of areas and has authored articles which have appeared in the Independent Banker and the Bank Funds Management Report. Kelly has been the featured speaker for seminars sponsored by the Independent Bankers Association of America and served as an instructor in the firm’s in-house training programs.

While serving in the Marine Corps, Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan College. He holds the National Association of Securities Dealers' Series 7 and 63 General Securities Licenses. He is also a member of the AICPA and Tennessee Society of CPAs.

As Senior Vice President in the firm's sales force, Kelly now serves institutional clients nationwide assisting them in managing a sound investment portfolio. This is accomplished through a unique needs-based analysis for each institution's circumstances. Kelly's strong accounting and regulatory knowledge coupled with extensive computer-based analytic capabilities and product knowledge enable him to provide his customers with the highest level of service and support.
