After working in industry as an accountant, controller, and internal auditor, Tim began his practice of public accounting in 1985 with a small office in Ligonier. He has served a variety of family-owned small businesses and individuals with tax preparation and advisory services. He also provides audit and financial statement services to local governments and not-for-profit agencies.

Tim served as President of the PICPA Southwestern Chapter. He has also been president of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce and Ligonier Rotary Club.

Tim earned his BA from St. Vincent College, and his MS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He is a member of the AICPA, PICPA, and CGMA.

DANIEL K. GOFF, CPA Daniel Goff is the Managing Partner at Goff Backa Alfera & Company, LLC. In addition, Dan is a frequent lecturer on numerous management topics and provides management consulting services to clients in a variety of industries including other CPA firms. He has served high technology companies, manufacturers, financial institutions, venture capital firms, professional service firms and nonprofit organizations, among others. His experience includes work in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, budgeting, asset/liability management, profit enhancement and international banking, as well as consulting related to clergy taxation. Dan is an alumnus of two big-five accounting firms and the National Banking School at the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting and management, from Duquesne University. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the PICPA's Committee on Ethics. The Committee is responsible for matters of professional ethics and disciplinary proceedings regarding the Code of Professional Ethics. Since 1989, he has been invovled with the PICPA's Peer Review program. Dan has served on the PICPA's Peer Review Committee, and is one of the most utilized reviewers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
