CPAs on the Front Lines of the Pandemic

Matt began his career in audit with Arthur Young & Co. in Philadelphia, leaving the merged Ernst & Young, Wyomissing as a Senior Manager in the tax department. He then worked in consulting with RKL LLP, before joining client Boyer’s Food Markets, Inc. as Controller. Now Chief Financial Officer of Boyer’s, he has assisted in growing the company from 8 stores to 18 stores located in Central Pennsylvania. Matt is a member of AICPA and PICPA, and Past-President of the Reading Chapter of the PICPA. He attended The University of Notre Dame.

Matt and his wife Rosemary live in Sinking Spring, PA. They have a daughter who graduated from The University of Pennsylvania and is currently teaching and pursuing her doctorate in Psychology at University of Maryland, and a son who graduated from The University of Notre Dame with a Masters of Science in Accountancy, who works in Chicago.

Courtney Coffman joined Grand View Health  as Vice President  and Finance and Chief Financial Officer in March 2020 after serving the same role at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center from April 2017- March 2020. Ms. Coffman  previously  served as the Market Chief Financial Officer for Prime Healthcare Services (Lower Bucks Hospital and Suburban Community Hospital) from 2016- 2017, and as the Chief Financial Officer at Lower Bucks Hospital from 2012- 2016. She's worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Over the past year, Ms. Coffman has taken a lead role in the oversight and management of the financial functions within Grand View Health, working with Chief Executive Officer Jean Keeler,JD, and the Board ofTrustees. Grand View Health is today a nationally ranked health network with a 176-bed  main hospital and four specialized outpatient centers serving Upper Bucks and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania.
