Yen is an Executive Director of Ernst & Young, LLP's Assurance practice
based in the Philadelphia office. Yen has over 17 years of experience with Ernst
& Young. Yen currently serves as the Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Services
Group Practice Leader for the Philadelphia Office. Yen serves as a technical
resource for Ernst & Young clients and personnel and routinely serves as an
instructor for in-house Ernst & Young sponsored employee benefit plan
courses. Her extensive knowledge and industry experience allow her to
effectively and efficiently manage, supervise or perform independent partner
review on many benefit plan audits. Yen advises her clients on a wide range of
employee benefit plan matters including accounting and auditing issues,
hard-to-value investments, prohibited transactions, full-scope and limited scope
audits, operational issues, and plan mergers and terminations for 401(k) plans,
403(b) plans and pension plans. Yen also regularly participates in the firm’s
internal quality review program.
Yen earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from LaSalle University in
Philadelphia, PA. Yen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountant.
