Highlights

Leadership is much more than what we observe on the outside of a person. Leaders have an outer game—the actions that we see, the roles they take on and the promotions they earn—but there is also an inner game. One’s inner game is made up of the conscious or unconscious thoughts that drives a leader’s actions or prevents them from taking action.

To maximize the performance of a knowledge worker, it is critical to understand how their inner world is impacting their outer game. This thought-provoking session will:

  • Review recent leadership theories that make the business case for elevating consciousness and competence;
  • Illustrate predictable fears that impact the levels of performance for accounting professionals;
  • Discuss adult development theory and it’s application in the workplace;
  • Provide practical actions that move a professional to higher levels of performance.
