• We (nonprofits) continue to be our own worst enemy, refusing to empower ourselves and push back on the thinking, wants, and demands of funders
• We are beginning to look like the corporate sector, with the numbers of takeovers and mergers, which are not always the best solutions for our work and our clients
• Too many nonprofits have failed or have failing business models and yet do nothing to fix the problem (hence the increase in takeovers and mergers)
