Tamara Pawlichka, CCP, SHRM-SCP

Tamara Pawlichka is the Regional Senior HR Consultant with Gallagher’s Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice. Tamara has more than 25 years of HR and consulting experience in the financial services, transportation and pharma industries. She has led strategic and tactical delivery of HR services for complex, cross-functional projects as part of M&A, integration, restructuring and change management initiatives. She has provided consultation, effective recommendations and support to companies in the areas of HCM strategy and execution, HR policy, process & system design, compensation, total rewards, performance management, talent management strategies, and communication strategy and deployment.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Tamara spent 12 years at UPS, the world’s largest package delivery provider with over 481,000 employees globally (399,000 in the U.S.). She held several positions including Global Cash Manager, Director, Investor Services and Director, Compensation. She supported the company’s many strategic initiatives, including a sales force restructuring and integration affecting over 5,000 employees (at the time, largest enterprise-wide project in company history). She has also held positions in the financial services industry in treasury management and consulting. Her passion is to leverage her diverse experience to assess business issues and problems and then deliver practical HR solutions that balance the best interests of management, employees and shareholders.

Tamara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She has obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources, and the SHRM Certified Professional along with the World at Work Compensation Professional certifications.

Kalyn Smith, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, HCM
Managing Director, HR Consulting

Kalyn is a Managing Director within the Human Resources Consulting and Compensation Practice of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc.  Human Resources and a thriving Company Culture are passions for Kalyn. Her ability to translate the challenges of her clients and streamline them into a strategic plan enables her to make an immediate impact within their organizations.

Kalyn comes to Gallagher with more than 25 years of Human Resources & Consulting experience.  Her diversified background includes work in the corporate, healthcare, legal, retail, higher education, service and manufacturing industries.  Specialized experience includes recruiting strategies, employee relations, culture development & employee retention, process improvement, customer service, strategic planning, performance management, change management, and succession planning.  Prior to joining Gallagher, Kalyn worked in an HR capacity with organizations ranging from start-ups to industry leaders including The Container Store, Axiom Global Inc, and ADP.  

Kalyn holds a B.A. in Writing, Minority Studies and Communications from Denison University.  She completed ongoing education in HR at DePaul University and has been certified as a SPHR, SHRM-SCP and HCM. Kalyn has served on non-profit boards for education and child welfare and has dedicated herself to helping underserved communities break the poverty cycle. She is also involved in helping United States Veterans transition to civilian life and in supporting their needs to secure employment after their civil service has been fulfilled.
